I finally cashed today!!!!! Good cash too, 6th in a $20/180, and had it not been for a river suckout I would have finished no worse than 5th ($234)because shorty went out the hand after mine... I was 5/6 and Had 66 in the BB, flopped a set on a board of 346 and pushed, CL called with 53, turn A, river 2!!
Short stacked the whole fucking way, first time I had a PP higher than 7 was when it was down to 12 and woke up with AA.. Managed to stay in through stealing a few blinds and chipping a few small pots here and there. I Won a few races to hang on at the FT, but it was an AI fest for the last 45 minutes so I had to pick my spots.. Sucks to bust out on a river card like that, I would have had 35K +/- chips and in decent enough shape to at least make a run, especially since it would have been down to 5
I've taken 7th and now 6th in this tourney to go with a few 10-18ths... Very good tourney for me, I like the format, I have the 'roll for it and it's now my second fave to certain sats....
At least I ended the day up..... About F'ing time!!!!
