I'm posting this and still playing on 2 screens and these converters always ignore all ins like the bitches they are, so it's taken me about half an hour to post this. I think that's enough time. I'm goin' south everywhere and goin' to bed. I've lost $250 of it. I don't even know how. I remember hitting a straight draw a few minutes ago. Probably got caught with my hand in the cookie jar and folded.

Could be harsh calling the second one a donk, hard to throw Aces away with that flop.

The first one has to figure you for something better than what he has. He's a donk!

Well, after I raise to $400 (a good portion of what's in front of him) and consider what's in the pot. I'm either bluffing, being a donkey with Jacks, or I have a set. After getting raised like that with Aces, it's all-in or fold. I told him what the turn and river were gonna look like if he wanted to just call the $300 raise. I'm not saying that I haven't been stubborn with Aces within the last 10 hours, but I'll admit that I'm being a donk right after I do it.

Raising to $901 was to get me to fold a flush draw, I thought, but HE HAD THE ACE OF SPADES. He was throwing $500 at me to get what was already nearing a $1500 pot. I actually considered folding because I thought he was protecting a higher set, but I put him on AA, KK, or QQ PF and I decided to stick with it. Not to mention that I'm not folding low set on that board. I'll pay a guy off and give him a "v nh."

It amazes me how bad some players can be at this level.

In the first hand - logically you could have raised with AK, AQ, AJ, AT, TT, JJ, QQ, KK all of which are beating him.

In fact the only hand he cannot beat is a 100% stone cold bluff. Unless you have a reputation for all in bluffing the river or had a wild table image?
If not what a donk indeed!

alex, don't you know you are supposed to push all in really really fast?

You got lucky they called you.

Good job man!

That is my whole bankroll right there.

Yeah. I was pretty weak. Last night I lost 2 sets to bigger sets, Aces full to quad Jacks, and laid down a couple of sets to flushes. "Vindication!"

I was saying to myself in the first hand, "Please have Queens full or JJ in the hole." He only had a set with 4 to a straight on a paired board, so yeah... VERY lucky. That's the glory right there. I love being lucky like that. It really does tell me that the luck comes back two-fold after being so unlucky when you stick to your game. I was so close to packin' it for the night/morning and going to bed whiny.

Yes I caught that . . . . ha.

ha.

ha.

Of course, he did massively overbet the river on the first hand. Overall, I'm not a cash game player, and I'm not sure how well pushing in cash games would work. Obviously it works pretty well on the river in the first hand.

Alex - on the first hand, how do you make that massive raise on the river? I mean, I probably just call here, given that I thought the only hand that fits the action and can call you that you beat is AJ (has the straight). AQ/AT are real possibilities here. Of course, the guy turns out to be about the biggest donk possible, so WTF do I know. . . .

You have some kind of read on villian?
