not an easy fold but it is a fold unless you have good reason to think neither player has anything at all which is unlikely. If you do not hit your straight or your flush you are finished. At that stage in the tourney give n your reasonable stack it was a foolish call imo.

I'm a little confused about this HH how does Vanwine raise 400 and Diago can just check? It says Diago was dealt a QJd but in the showdown Mysterio has the exact same hand and Diago isn't even shown???
Knowing the stack sizes would be helpfull also.If you're looking to borrow money or have someone give you money in order to play poker online please don't contact me... Click Here for help , and explain your situation.

I assume mysterio2229 is the same as diago79. In this situation, you weren't just chasing a flush, you were chasing an open ended straight as well. Big difference. You had 14 theoretical outs (though 13 real outs since your opponent was holding a diamond). You could have also had more outs since you were holding over cards (for example if your opponent was holding AT then you would gain 6 more outs), though we can see this is not the case since your opponent had a set. So in the best case scenario (your opponent has AsTs) you're a 2.3 to 1 favorite and in the worst case (your opponent has a set) you're only a 1.5 to 1 underdog. I'd say it was a good call.

HH is messed up, but my answer depends on what game this is MTT, SnG, etc... If this is an SnG, then I'm probably laying down since I dont have the nut. If this is a cash game I would probably call. Its all circumstantial IMO.
Pot odds is important, but if this is a tourney ( which I assume) so does the pay structure, your place in the tourney, and the what this move does for you.Trons: "...be a winning person first."

Agree with Bonch on this one...
This is an easy push.
FD and OESD as bonch pointed out.

you definately have a lot of outs!!
Only hand you are a big dog agaist is Kdxd.
But I think you are VS a set... I would call considering you already put 1/2 of your stack in that hand and you have the odds!

Hes in for 400 chips to see the flop. This by no means is a big investment. I think the 2400 chip raise is his raise but I cant tell since he changes names. This is in a 1400 chip pot. WTF? If you wanna bet your equity on a FD OESD fine, but severe overbetting? Then for someone to come back over the top has me very concerned. The way the hand was played on the flop is why this decision is so difficult. All around its bad play so if you want to argue AI thats fine with me, but I'm not at all surprised when we lose this hand to a set or a poorly slowplayed big PP.
If you want to bet out 1/2 the pot on the turn go ahead. I'm not doing that in this field. I'll see what it costs me to call or raise after the betting goes around.Trons: "...be a winning person first."
