    ** Dealing down cards **
    Dealt to wesman46 [ 9h 9s ]
    >You have options at Central Time Table!.
    wsmicrox folds.
    TED4242 folds.
    luckbox47 folds.
    Justino05 folds.
    minihass raises [140].
    nitemare2478 folds.
    wesman46 calls [140].

i call here, my hand is probably best right now, but others are still to act and i may or may not have position after the flop on everyone. so i just call.

    Farqhuarson calls [140].
    regisd folds.
    nonknowledge folds.
    ** Dealing Flop ** [ Ts, 6c, 6s ]

pretty good flop for me, as the guy behind me did not indicate much strength pf, and ahead of me could literally have any 2 OK cards.

    minihass bets [85].
    wesman46 raises [445].

big raise, about the size of the pot. his bet was small, and it doesnt look like he has anything. the guy behind me had an opportunity to raise to represent a big pair PF, but he didnt, so im not going to give him credit for one.

    Farqhuarson is all-In [1820]
    minihass folds.
    wesman46 folds.

farq has seen bet, raise, and now is all in. its very early in the tourny, a decent player is not desperate. ill give him credit for a Ten, jacks, he obviously thinks hes winning.

    Farqhuarson does not show cards.
    Farqhuarson wins 2830 chips

    did i play it right?

Quite honestly, this early in a Party? sit n go, I would fold 99 to a preflop raise. In an MTT or ring different story, but in this context it's a fold for me more often than not. Later on I'd be playing it more aggressively but early in these things I'm looking to either double up or sit and wait for 30 minutes to gain info on the other guys and let them knock each other out.

If I did call then I would be looking for the set. The trouble with the T66 flop is that when you bet the 99 you are only getting called by hand that beat you so you are faced with a dilemma that I use to govern a lot of my play in SnGs which is..

If I win this pot will it significanlty increase my chance of winning money.

If I lose this pot will it significantly decrease my chance of winning money.

Often the answer to the first question is no and the second one yes. I think this was one of those cases.

However, there are plenty of other ways to play SnGs and I don't think you did anything wrong and also made a disciplined fold.

I'm not risking my tourney life on a single pair of nines. Farq may have slow played aces, Kings or queens - yesterday I had all three LIMPED in not fewer than 6 times from 3 different players. There was more buckskin and fur caps at that table than at the Hudson Bay Trapper's Convention!!
It's early in the tourney and you will have better opportunities to get it back - good flod IMO.
