1 fold, UTG+1 raises to t200, Bonchy calls t200, 6 folds.
Villian is a sorta crappy player. He will go too far with weak draws like ISDs and overcards. His range is probably too loose here. This could be a fold, and I'd like a bit more to isolate. I dunno, CALL IS GOOT.
Flop: (t550),
,

UTG+1 bets t300
No reason to think I'm behind. He'll probably continuation bet here most of the time.

i think you have to raise his bet, cause if you call and any face card comes its a scary board, he may also be drawing to a flush here, he may actually have the j, but the only way to know if he has the flush draw or j would be to reraise him...calling here is too passive eather you take the lead in the hand or you fold..

Since his range is so loose its hard to put him on a hand, but the only hand you're a dog to is Jx, or 2x but that's pretty far fetched. Then again he could have a higher PP, my bet is he missed his big ace though. Id put in a probe raise or fold, i dont see a problem with either options.

Tricky hand, it is about as a good a flop as you can get for 44 with only one over card. Unless you know the guy might fold to a raise you probably have to fold here. If I were to raise him i'd make it 900, as you'll want to raise more than the minimum, but leave yourself something if he pushes back.
If he goes all in i'd probably fold as i would expect to lose majority of times, as he could well have the J, or a higher pocket pair. If he has a flush draw he certainly has over cards as well, so thats only a 50/50 shot. You'll be ahead if he just has the over cards, and even if hes on a complete bluff he still has two over cards. So the best cast scenario your only 75/25, most of the time your 50/50 or worst.Last edited by Cpt. Bloodclot; 02-24-2006 at 07:47 AM.
I love him who is ashamed when the dice fall in his favour and who then asks: Am I then a cheat? for he wants to perish.

hes cont betting you....raise. if you feel the raisemakes you pot committed then push.
That will teach him not to cont bet the boncher.
P.S. I'm talking to you wireless over the cell phone network on the new laptop....sweet!
Can someone say Poker on the train? It took me longer than expected to get up and running, but hopefully i wont be so scarce anymore.

Didn't notice how little he had...but doesn't really have any affect on my answer or the situation, as i suggested folding to his bet on the flop, and only betting you very sure that your bet would make hime fold. Unless you're certain that he would make that bet with nothing then you fold. You've only invested 200 in the pot, you should be able to get away from 44 here.
