    Default $105 Turbo hand

    $105 STT Turbo

Villian is a tricky, good, scary, player. Hero is probably better.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (9 handed) converter

    MP3 (t1580)
    CO (t1615)
    Button (t1395)
    SB (t1350)
    BB (t1510)
    Bonchy (t1675)
    UTG+1 (t1100)
    MP1 (t1455)
    MP2 (t1820)

Preflop: Bonchy is UTG with , .
    Bonchy raises to t150, 2 folds, MP2 calls t150, 5 folds.

I feel he'd re raise with a middle pair+, but he islikely to cold call with AK/AQ or AA/KK also. He range includes a bunch of connectors, and even hands like KJs.
    Flop: (t375) , , (2 players)
Bonchy bets t175, MP2 raises to t350, Bonchy raises to t700

I wanted it to make it look like I was begging for a call. Against most normal players, I fold here most of the time and push like 15%.

It's not standard, but raising UTG with AK,AA,KK,QQ only gets old. Mixing up your game occasionally can't hurt. This is a fold 85%~ of the time, a raise 10%~ and a limp 5%~. This is just how I play NL tourneys.

In any limit game, it's always a fold.

i don't mind the raise under the gun with 56s (because i like playing any hand) but thats a really ugly flop and i think this type of player would reraise with xj in this situation,, and unless you got a real solid read, i believe if he has a flush draw hes calling your reraise and if he has the j he will call you down to the end.. i don't know about this play its pretty dangerous, for me i'd have to be 90% sure i could take the pot down before i went any further with the hand.. but if he calls your reraise on the flop i would say your done witht the hand...

this is not an ugly flop. what a deuce? two hands: Jx, and flush draw, the latter being unlikely. Id comment but i have no idea how, 100$SNgers play. if this was a baybe buy in id say that min. raise means flush draw.

This is a dumb hand to raise let alone play.

I see what you are saying, mixing up your play a little bit and I'm cool with that. Being the aggressor pf and out of position makes this difficult to play after the flop.
Good flop for you, not very scary. Your bet could look like a continuation bet, a "begging for a call" bet, or a "buy the turn card cheap" for a draw.
Did you get your reads on this guy in this tourney or had you played him before? It seems a little early in the game to put a lot of confidence in the levels of strategy you give him credit for.
Anyway, after the flop you can check/fold and give up or get aggressive. It takes cojones to get aggressive here, so kudos.
He's probably puts you on 1) pocket pair 2) flush draw 3) a jack or 4) junk. He reraises you to see if you are for real.
Again, time to throw in the towel or put the screws to him. Most of us wouldn't put half our stack into this hand on a bluff, but its not a bad play. I know your read is that he doesn't have middle pp, but without the read, I would put him on likely pp<JJ or two overs.
The bluff here is too risky in my opinion. If hero is a better player, should he be taking the risK? Of course, I have no experience at these levels.
Good example of some power poker. I hope he layed it down.

I like the badass UTG raise...

    Flop play:

The original bet here is OK. The reraise I don't like.

I'd probably check/fold this flop but then again I'm weak tight

If not I fold to the raise or push.

I really don't like the reraise.
