its 3 handed in a home game. im massive chip leader after knocking out 2 players at once. short stack to my right. blinds are t100/t200.
dealt 22 in BB.
short stack raises to t600.
i call, other player folds.
flop is: 10 K 2 rainbow.
i bet out t600. tried to make it look like a continuation bet, he calls.
turn is a blank, i bet out t800. he goes into the tank, and thinks about it for a while. at this point im thinking that im about to knock him out with his AK or KQ maybe even KT, he goes all in for t2000 more (or something like that).
i have a pretty loose image, and i've been caught bluffing a few times, not tonight, but in previous games. the short stack is also very aggressive. he is a pretty solid player and picks his spots pretty well when he does bluff. what do you do?

easy call. sooooo easy. you can afford to lose if you have a missive chip lead.
I get more ass than a toilet seat. All shapes/colors/sizes.

I wonder why I called a raise preflop with 22 instead of either reraising or folding.
Then I wonder what I was hoping to hit if not trip 2s.
Then I call in a heartbeat and he probably turns over trip Ts or 6s.
CALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How can you not call?
Seriously what is your reasoning for even considering folding?

i wasnt considering folding at all at the time. i called immediately and he had trip K's. i only ask because im trying to think if there was any way i could have avoided this. i just remember thinking "trip 2's! im about to knock this guy out!!" i didn't even think about what he could have had.

Well with a massive chiplead, calling is the only option.

Wrong. Push preflop easy.

wow.. easy call/push here... dont even have to think about this one lol..
if this guy is SS and has 10 10 or KK then he would have pushed it all in PF.
if this guy has any pocket pair under 10.. then he would not have called ur flop bet (either that or he would have pushed it all in pf with the pocket pair). So the rag on the turn could not have helped him.
Easy Easy Call. I call without even thinking.
