    Default Flopping Trips in the BB

    any other way i could have played this hand that would have maximized my profits?




    Ultimate Bet 2/4 Hold'em (7 handed) converter

    Preflop: Hero is BB with , .
    2 folds, MP2 calls, 3 folds, Hero checks.

    Flop: (2.50 SB) , , (2 players)
    Hero checks, MP2 bets, Hero calls.

    Turn: (2.25 BB) (2 players)
    Hero checks, MP2 bets, Hero raises, MP2 calls.

    River: (6.25 BB) (2 players)
    Hero bets, MP2 calls.

    Final Pot: 8.25 BB

    Results in white below:
    Hero has Th 2s (three of a kind, twos).
    MP2 has Jh Kc (two pair, jacks and twos).
    Outcome: Hero wins 8.25 BB.

    looks pretty dam good to me. raising his flop bet may have scared him away. so i like just calling there, and raising the turn. and the river bet is good also b/c you dont want to risk him checking it down after you.. nice job.

    The only other thing you could've done is ask the guy, "Hey, would you mind please re-raising my river bet?"

    Against just one player, I would bet out this flop, if he raises then call and check-raise turn. If he calls then bet again.

    you think he'll raise a flop bet? Personally, I get worried when a BB checks, then gets a flop with a low pair on the board. first thing on my mind is trips.

    hahaha.. for the longest time i was a NL player.. but the swings are just too unbearable.. whenever i get my money in with the best hand, and my hand doesnt hold up, it just seriously pisses me off.. and its been happening to me lately ALOT!..this is why im switching over to limit poker for now.. heh..
