When I got raised on the turn, I had a feeling that I was beat but had a hard time laying down my FH. Should I have been able to fold this or was I correct to call it down?

Fold on the flop, you have nothing. If the flop was QT3 go ahead and play it aggressively but on a 2 low flop bottom set with no low draw is worthless.
What you have there is the classic suckers hand (no offense). similar to the guy who chases straights on low boards or bets and raises top set/no low on a flop like, 457 with 2 suits, you are giving your money awayRead my musings on poker and life at Online Poker Examiner, Poker Examiner, PokerNewsBoy.com, and My Poker Blog

I DID have a runner-runner draw to the 2nd nut low, I was thinking that might be enough to go along with the high hand on the flop. I take it that's not the case?

A 47 would be a better a low draw than what you have. if you make 2nd nut low will you have the high hand???? or even the best low???? if 2 cards below a 6 fall you most likely lose the whole pot, your runner runner low draw is for nothing.
