Am I the only one going broke on this hand?

Him calling that big bet on the flop may have slowed me down a bit - I'd have either checked or bet more like 3/4 the pot on the turn and see what he did.
I'm CDO. It's like OCD, but everying is in order just like it should be.

I had him on JavaScript. I figured a big bet would make him pay to draw. Little did I know I was already drawing dead.

pre-flop, SB had already called a small raise, and although you did re-raise it , I don't think it was enough to show your strength. that was your mistake.

That's just it - a 3/4 pot bet is enough to take away odds to draw to an OESD without risking your entire stack.

I owuld not have put him on JQ. His PF actions would make that holding unlikely.
His bet/call on the flop would puzzle me, but I would be hard pressed to say I play this differently.Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.

I dont know if I go broke, but his flop play definately rings a bell,
Betting $0.50 being 1st to act in a 6$+ pot is very odd. And then he calls a 4.50$ raise...
I would have check the turn I think...
And probably call a normal size bet on the river. Maybe not all in...

a $.50 bet and then a call of a $5 raise is a pretty good indicator of a real strong hand. JavaScript is just as likely as 8s, 9s, or Ts so I don't like this thinking.

When he check/calls that bet on a three card straight board, alarm bells should go off in your head.
Let's play this one back. It's raised to 3x bb by MP, and the SB calls for only $0.60 more. You raise it to only $2 total (8x the bb is way too little, IMO - try at least 15x the bb or 5 times the previous raise when there's been 2 callers), MP calls (now putting him on AJ-A2, KQ, small - med pair) and the SB calls the $1.25 because he's getting around 4:1 on his money.
Not many players are so cold blooded as to slow pay a big pair twice before the flop, so we'd have to rule out AA & QQ for the SB. Likewise, AK is almost a certain reraise the second time around (if for nothing else than information). JJ, TT not reraising here twice is also very unlikely. So I'd put him on a pair 99-22, or suited connectors.
When the three straight flops, and your opponent check/calls you, I'm thinking he's probably got at least 2 pair most of the time. If I think he's just an idiot on a draw, then I also pound him on the turn. But if I either don't have a feel for him or think he's a solid player, I think I check behind him on the turn and see what the river brings.
This is why we raise a significant amount PF most of the time - to avoid these difficult decisions on later streets. Of course, I also play this one cute some % of the time just to mix my play up, so if that was what I was doing here, I also go broke.

Thanks a lot, that's very helpful.
It seems that I'm just not thinking enough when playing. It's like I make up my mind what I'm going to do before the flop comes and then I do it...regardless of what my opponents do. I know, I know.....I'm retarded. I really wish the online sites gave me more time to think though, sometimes I feel like I'm trying to diffuse a bomb or something. lol.
I guess I just have a way to go.
