Default O8b - did I do anything wrong?

I'm trying to learn limit O8b, and it's giving me a freaking ulcer. Here's a hand from last night - did I screw it up or get unlucky. Go ahead and be brutal; it's the only way I'll learn. Since I was only playing for half the pot, should I have just checked the turn and river rather than betting out?

Girevik posts the small blind of $.10.
ladybrokenhr posts the big blind of $.25.

well switch tables ASAP, playing .25/.5 I would never expect it to be folded around to the blinds.

Pre-flop, your hand is good but you realize their is no high potential. I will raise this up in this situation however, hoping that the BB will fold, he doesn't.

Flop, ehh betting is fine, the flop isn't great for you but you picked up the nut low draw and have bottom pair.

Turn, it's a good card for you betting is fine

River, bad card, you now lose to any A, you have a low but it's weak. Check if your opponent is passive, he'll probably check through. If he is passive and bets you can fold this pretty easily.

Yeah, wish I could have. I was stuck playing on UB last night (Paradise was having problems), and that was the tables with the highest PF% I could find.

I need to get better at recognizing this - I was still thinking I had a pretty good low. Maybe I'm just too dumb for this game.

Your main problem is you had no high potential, apart from your aces pairing and hopefully something else pairing, you are at best playing for half the pot, if he doesn't fold preflop then don't bet into him.
A good education is expensive but ignorance costs more.
