Default MP with KK and UTG with AQs

    Criticisms wanted.

$20 NLHE Tourney Home Game, T2000, Pokerstars blind schedule (minus antes), 1/2 hour blinds, 12 players.

    Hand #1: Two tables, 12 players. 10/20.

I'm UTG+1 with about 2000. UTG really likes to gamble it up and has about 2500. I pick up KhKc.

UTG raises to 80. I reraise to 180. Folds to UTG, who calls. Pot = 390.

    Flop: Qd 3d 3c. UTG checks. I bet 250. UTG calls. Pot = 890.

    Turn: Qd 3d 3c 4h. UTG checks. I bet 500. UTG calls. Pot = 1890.

River: Qd 3d 3c 4h 7d. UTG checks. I check. Pot = 1890. I show a pair of Kings, he shows the diamond flush with 5d4d.

    Hand #2: 1 table, 9 players. End of 15/30.

I am UTG with 700. UTG+1 is LAG, UTG+2 is our big gambler from the previous hand, both big stacks. LP is tight with about 1500. I'm dealt AQs.

I limp. UTG+1 raises to 120. UTG+2 calls. Folds to LP who calls. Folds to me, I raise all in to 700. UTG+1 ponders a while and then pushes all in, all fold. I show AQs, UTG+1 shows 66. Pot @ 1700. I don't improve.

How did our Gambler move from our right to our left so quickly?

Not exactly the critique I was looking for. ;-)

They are not consecutive hands. Hand #2 is about 45 minutes later, after we combined to a final table with 9 players (after 3 knockouts), and reseated.

My only comment would be to Raise the AQs, but I sense you were looking for of the maniacs to do that for you.......

Overall, I think you played both hands fine.

PF in the 1st hand, you probably should have reraised to more like 320. A raise to 180 isn't much more than a minimum reraise, which isn't going to get anyone to fold. On the flop, you were giving him only 2.5:1 on his flush draw so he made a mistake there, then on the turn you were giving him 2.8:1 on his flush, so he also made a mistake there.

In the second hand, there's not much you could have done there. You were low stacked so you had to push with AQs and he wasn't going to fold his PP for only 580 more chips.
