Default When the board flops 3 of a kind

How do you guys tend to play a hand like this, I managed to get HU in this example but in the last few days I remember seeing 2 more similar flops (one I had a pair of 8's but got outdrawn when an A hit).

Anyway are you better off getting aggressive in a situation like this in a multiway pot or are you better off folding if someone leads out?

    PokerStars 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with , .
2 folds, Hero raises, 1 fold, SB calls, 1 fold.

    Flop: (5 SB) , , (2 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, SB calls.

    Turn: (4.50 BB) (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls.

    River: (6.50 BB) (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls.

    Final Pot: 8.50 BB

    Results in white below:
Hero has Ts Ac (three of a kind, nines).
SB has 5s 2c (three of a kind, nines).
    Outcome: Hero wins 8.50 BB.

he almost certainly has a pocket pair. I would check behind on the turn... your bet is not for value, and it's not going to get hiim to fold his hand. The river bet is also a bit out of hand.

My flop raise was more for information I figured if he had me beat he'd reraise, plus the guy was playing alot of hands and getting aggressive in the ones he was involved in with junk hands.

The check on the turn makes me think I'm ahead unless he decides to CR me, and I'd consider being done with the hand. If I check behind him I was thinking I set myself up for a possible bluff on the river if he leads out, which puts pressure on me.

It wasn't uncommon for this guy to check call all the way in the hands he was involved in, so you're thinking I'm too aggressive here? It would be a better play to just check the river card?

I keep these hands as cheap as possible. This is exactly "gambling" and not poker. Is your A good or does someone have a pp. Did someone pair the turn card. Is the quad in someones hand?

If I can I'll check this down to the river and be happy if I win it. If I have a pp I'll bet out because A's will call and most other hands will fold, but there isn't a lot of money to be made.

Last night in the MTT ( i know, its not limit but...) I called late against 2 players with K3s. Flop was KK3. Anything I do here is going to be viewed as suspect. I checked behind and tried to keep the players in the hand. If I had x3, I would have bet out. Turn card was the case K. I made next to nothing on the hand. So even with a good hand the profit wasnt there. When you may have a loser, why bother betting. In my mind I'm already on to the next hand.

When the board flops the set, I hope I'm up against someone who will call me down with 5 high. WOW! Best bart is, he called a RAISE with that.

Id bet from the kicker. If he has a pocket pair then you still have 6 outs and I might expect a raise if he thinks he has the winning hand. Bet low enough so that he can raise to see what pocket pair you have. If he raises, fold, if he calls, Id be pretty confident of having the winning hand...
