Both players ave 100BB+ stacks. EP raised to 4BB, I am in BB with 88 and call. The pot is then heads up.

Flop comes down

I check
Opponent bet out pot ($3)
I reraised to $8

I wouldnt be worried about the 7, I wouldnt have called the bet though because that seems like a high pocket pair...

Do you mean preflop or on the flop?

The flop bet looked like continuation bet on AK to me, hence i raised. Wasn't sure what to make off the call.

I check and hope he checks. If he bets, I'm probably folding....unless it's a minimum bet or something. I can't see him calling an $8 check raise with A/K UNLESS maybe he was 4 to the flush. But I put him on an overpair and since you have the smallest overpair possible, his must be bigger than yours.

Also, if it were me, I'm betting this flop. If he raises you, you can get away from it. By letting him bet, you're left wondering if it's a bluff or not.

why even hesitate. This is AK-AJ you are faceing, or its the weakest over pair play I have ever seen (yeah some ppl just call this flop with TT or JJ). You gotta push this so hard on the turn. Mostlikely you up against an Ace, so bet hard.

100BB = $50.

Gder is correct. I thought when he called he must have an overpair, so I checked and folded to his bet. He did indeed have AK.
