I also agree that you need to bet bigger on the flop. I would really want to take this pot down on the flop. With a 400 bet You are giving very good odds to call or re-raise draws with a ton of draws on the board. I would put about a 3/4 to pot sized bet.Originally Posted by Fishodeath

Since opp only had $11 or so left, and you pushed all in for like $70 or so my question is this.........
Do they rake that over bet portion (above the $11)...if so, you are paying a premium to be intimidating. far more cost effective to just bet enough to push him all in.

No - uncalled bets do not get raked.
I'm CDO. It's like OCD, but everying is in order just like it should be.

We all get caught with TPTK sometimes. Like most of these situations I base my decisionon the player making the bet, its he tight loose aggressive etc.. In the tournament example I'm calling 100% of the time. If I lose so be it. remember it goes the other way too!
yesterday I raised 4 x bb with AK and got one caller. flop came 67A, I bet pot he calls (fairly loose aggressive player) turn J. He goes all in. I call he flips over 67 suited the river is a Jack :-)
