if you have super odds and a hand with a chance of improving bigtime, then you can call with trash. 64s for example, with 4-1 or 5-1 odds. Easy call.

getting only 2-1 with a hand that's not connected and has no high card strength is a poor play.

-You may not know this, but poker is a game of incomplete information.
