MARM - ??????
So I have him 50/50 on KK or QQ. I flat called the flop to get the rock to my right to call another bet on the turn, but that backfired.
What does Ace have?

What's he got?

Preflop I would have said K's, Q's or AK. His river play makes AK unlikely, I think, so like you I'd say K's or Q's. He's been aggressive the whole way until the river, so I'm not sure I'd think he's going for a checkriaise. I'd have to guess he's got Q's and is afraid you have a K.
I'm CDO. It's like OCD, but everying is in order just like it should be.

looking post flop I thought AT, but given the pre-flop action and the river action I would say JJ or QQ, I don't think he has a set.

The only other thing I am thinking here is this guy is only sitting with 11BB in the first place so he could be a donkfish playing a smaller pp and wasnt afraid of the flop.
I await patiently for the answer. It will probably be something like 7d8d with the OESD and flush draw on the turn with a bunch of retarded value bets.Trons: "...be a winning person first."

something makes me think JQs. Raise, then a bad call to the re-raise. Saw an 8 outer and went for the straight draw, then got nowhere. Doesnt explain the raise on the turn though.. except maybe both are diamonds... that would give him millions of outs. Then he sees you betting each time, maybe was going for a check raise?
Or 8Js and he was just absolutely rubbish pre flop?
I may have to agree with QQ/JJ, both seem very likely.Last edited by mik1w; January 27th, 2006 at 11:57 AM.

That depends on how big an idiot they guy is. Only an idot would bet all three streets and expect a check-raise to work on the river. But if he IS an idiot and you get check-raised, are you the bigger idiot for falling for it?

I say Qs... or AA aswell...
Why would he checks the river with KK, you shown strenght and you definately have the odds to call... so you will. Checking the river can ,make Qs or JavaScript check behind and lost a big bet.

Given that you raised and reraised him on the turn, i don't see why he would try for the check-raise of the river (its very rarely the correct play). So i think the check shows weakness, so he probably doesn't have 99, TT, or KK. Given the reraise preflop its reasonbly safe to eliminate a hand with a 3 in it, or KT, 9T, K9. I refuse to blieve that anyone would play QJ like that, even
. I would bet the river, and expect to be called. Most likely hand i'd think would be QQ or JJ.
I love him who is ashamed when the dice fall in his favour and who then asks: Am I then a cheat? for he wants to perish.
