Default Bad steal attempt or right idea wrong outcome

As a change of pace from limit ring games I decided to play a 45 man SnG for the first time ever.. this was the final table. I usually haven't played much in tournaments other than single table SnG's when I first started playing on line and have yet to really get into my HOH books yet. So should I have maybe held off for a better hand or was this a fairly good move?

6 people to act after you, with only a raise to 3BB...you have to figure someone is going to call, i dont know how it went down but I think you should have pushed with something sooner.

u have 3 BB left.. at this point u have to push with almost any 2 cards..
i do think u should have pushed alot sooner tho.. did u get blinded down to 3BBs? or did u get busted on a hand earlier?

Blinded down, I had about 5K in chips going into the table but in the first few orbits there were other people pushing before my turn to act or I just had crap cards in EP like a 9,2o. This was the first decent hand I got where I had relatively high cards.

    Its a good push.

I'm about halfway through HoH V.2. If you are doing well at the one table SnG I highly suggest that you just pick up Vol. 2 and read Vol. 1 later. Vol. 1 is great, but not as impactful if you can get through the early stages of tourneys already. You would have pushed much earlier than this which would have:

    a) knocked you out earlier
    b) put you in a position to win

Bubbling IMO is far worse than going out 20th in a 45 man.
