Default Similar hand was posted a few days ago....

And there was some discussion about the flop and turn play in this situation in terms of what would be better. So here's I believe a slightly different way it was played, any thoughts? BTW why can't someone hit a draw when we get hands like this Looking back I think I possibly shoud've just called the turn bet in hopes of other people calling just 1 bet instead of 2 to get more $ into the pot

id bet the flop when its checked round to u....everyone is getting at least 15/1 and will most likely call for one more bet...

id also just call the turn in the hope of getting a few more callers along the way.....imo, ur forcing them outta this pot with no need to do so

if u just call the turn, the rest are getting 9/1 which could tempt a few stragglers to tag along for "one more card".......the turn bettor will almost certainly call your raise but will either check/call or check/fold on river

overall, unlucky that noone else hit anything

Yeah, call the turn, and hope for overcalls, then He'll bet out on the river, and you can raise. You have the advantage of position here, worst case, the river ends the same.

I think a raise is good. What are people going to be drawing to here with two pair on the board? Might as well make the guy who might have an eight or thinks he has a hand pay instead of hope people who can't possibly have anything call.

I was considering betting the flop but with no paint cards out there I figured I'd need a pocket pair out there, an 8, or a flush draw for most to continue so I was thinking check the flop and hope somone catches a piece of the turn but I agree looking back I think calling the turn bet instead of making it 2 bets for everyone else might've gotten a few more bets in, guess I jumped the gun a little

I really don't like raising the turn, You are almost guaranteed losing all the othere players.

If you flat call, you may get at least a couple of the 5 players left to call, and then you can raise the river... Calling is way more +EV than raising.

I feel it is a big mistake to not bet that flop, people are expecting it since you raised PF and wont put you on a hand. Also the board is super draw heavy, lots of straight and flush possibilities the pot is big and pretty much everyone will call the small bet here. You might even get check raised.

Turn, raising is a mistake a really big mistake since MP3 bet, now everyone is paying 2 big bets to draw dead. If you call you probably net at least 2 more calls, also you are pretty much telling everyone that you have at least a 10.
