Hands down, this is the part of my game that needs the most work. I guess I'm just looking for any tips and/or advice you guys might have as to how to improve my ability to read my opponents. What to look for? How to keep it all straight? Etc.
My biggest problem is the fact the most hands don't make it to a showdown so I may have a pretty good read on my opponents but can't verify wether or not I was correct. Since I can't verify wether or not I was correct, I'm never quite sure later on when a similar situation comes up.

Reading Your Opponent

This is a wide open question that would take several books to cover - which is not a bad idea to read a book or two.
Anyway, reading opps is a hand to hand experience and if you read several of the Hand Histories that are posted here, you will see hand and opps reading in each analysis. It takes time and thousands of hands but you'll get better and better each time - reading posts and books to more fully understand the game will speed things up but it still boils down to experience. Good luck.
