Sorry i dont have history.
This hand was about 25 minutes into a mtt. Blinds were 25/50 and i had about 1400 chips. I get 45 on the BB 5 people limp before me and i check. Flop is 23J rainbow.
I check and 3 people move all in who have me covered, i figured i was getting the odds to draw to my straight so i called, it didnt hit and i got busted out. The all inners had 22 33 and JJ respectivaly. So would anyone else be calling for their stack in this position ?

You're gunna want to get a big stack early, but with three all ins your not wagering 1400 in chips for 4200 chips you're wagering the buy in for 4200 chips. So if a 1:3 odds to win is worth the buy in go for it. I wouldnt have called.

I've made that call in the past and I've also laid it down. As 11 said it's not about the chips it's about the buy-in.
Later in a tourney I'd throw it away if I had a decent stack, but early on I'd make the call a reasonable % of the time.

early i wouldn't call cause i'm not to wrry about doubling or tripling up early, i'd rather double up later in the tourny, play tight, lay it down and live to play another day...but at the end of a tourny i know the hand wouldn't go down the same way, but i'd mix up my play more so i may play this more aggressively or call hoping to hit in the later stages of the tourny.

3 people all in, you have the odds to call and I probably would early.
Quadrupling up is definately worth the risk and you'll hit it often enough, I would do the same thing most of the time. Think of how much more you can do with a 6000 chip stack than a 1400 stack. Your odds of making the final table jump alot.
