I seem to have a problem where when I win, I don't win much and when I lose I lose alot. How can I change this? I could've pushed all-in on the river but i really wanted a call. I feel that if I pushed all-in he would've called but I just couldn't fire, I wanted him to call or re-raise me. I didn't want to all-in just to watch him fold. When he bet 1$ on the flop I knew he was most likely holding a ten, protecting vs a flush draw..
How can I change this, played my hands better?

Correct Play? 8/8

when he re raises you on the turn its pretty obvious he has a big hand. you could have pushed all in right there and hes calling. on the river you gotta push. just calling there is leaving money on the table
it's better to be pissed off than pissed on

I agree with the poster above. The reraise is a heavy indication that he'll play the hand for all his chips. I'd push in hear (of course a 9 will come on the river....hehehe).

I agree... if someone reraises and you have that strong a hand, push. Nobody puts the third bet in and then folds.

ON the turn you re raise and he raises again. Here is your chance to get all the money in. 90% chance he will not fold if you push hard on the turn. After he reraises turn you must raise instead of call.
I get more ass than a toilet seat. All shapes/colors/sizes.

I think this is going to be beat to death.
Reraise and push. It make sense, as I doubt he's laying down his hand, and if he is, great - no suckout.
This looks like a party HH, so it's no suprise to me that you won this hand even though you should have fully committed your chips earlier.

Everyone is missing what I consider an obvious play: Raise preflop to isolate the EP limper.

^i dont mind the call preflop. if hes on the button hes obviously raising this, but with his position he doesnt HAVE to.
and what should have been done on the turn has allready been beat to death. even if you do choose to call on the turn its only to get your money all in on the river anyway. either way, you have to get all your money in the pot.

How does being one off the button in a full game change it that much? I'd like to hear your thoughts on that. With a hand like 88, I want to play a big multiway pot(which obviously can't happen now). The best best choice is playing headsup with psoition vs this weak limper. This hand doesn't need to be raised all the time, but raising it 2/3 or more is good.
