If I would have called pre-flop all-in I would have won this hand, but was this a bad laydown or worthy of all-in pre-flop? I was going to call but just didnt have enough faith in the hand, I know it's good but just to what extent? ALL-IN preflop? I don't know I'm new to OMAHA, uhm tips for this situation and links to more help/articles would be great, thanks.

If you put the guy going all-in on AAxx you can't really call. This would depend on how often you have seen him raise all-in preflop, but AAxx is fairly common in omaha and has you beat 65/35. If he has AA plus two high cards (i.e. the cards you need) things are even worst, and you're as much as a 85/15 underdog. IMO, it would have been a very bad call.
I love him who is ashamed when the dice fall in his favour and who then asks: Am I then a cheat? for he wants to perish.

being a bit results orientated aren't you?

Your hand is a pure drawing hand, while good has nothing at the moment and has no chance of winning unimproved. If can't call a 80bb bet pre-flop with that hand ever, just let it go.

Also maybe try to use the hand converter next time BHC

Does that work for Omaha? I've not been able to get it to work and had to do it manually.
I'm CDO. It's like OCD, but everying is in order just like it should be.

Yeah I was just wondering if it was a OUT of the question call. I don't understand pre-flop great hands yet, I have an idea of what good hands are, but I don't know how much I can call, with what draws after the flop.

Yes, it was out of the question here. Your hand was very good, but you want alot of people to the flop with a hand like that. It is likely to turn into the nuts, but you need good implied odds (lotsa people) to make it pay off.

You want really strong hands like AAJT, KKQJ or double paired/double suited aces to call a huge bet like that PF. Alot of people discourage re-raising PF with AAxx since it telegraphs your hand and you'll end up paying off 2 pair or sets.

PLO is a hard game to learn, I try hard and I still suck . The good news is that most people suck more than I do

Is there such thing as a non drawing hand in Omaha? How common is it for AA single pair to win?
