Default Turbo vs Regular 2 table sit n go

I just did my first turbo 2 table. Heads up i thought was ridiculous because the big blind was 1/5 of each of our chip stacks... During short handed play, it was real easy to survive and take chips when the cards werent coming. Going into short handed, it wasnt very different i guess, just faster. Any1 else have thoughts about it?

I just played another turbo and didnt get a single playable hand. I basically got blinded to death. I made a few plays that kept me in longer, but it caught up with me and i got knocked out.

I hate turbos. The local LIve tournys we have here are similar, 1500TC and 100/200 blinds with 10 minute rounds to start. They're just to build the cash games up. If we hurry really fast, we sometimes can get the majority of a round in before the blinds go up.

I don't bother playing them anymore because they are too luck driven, You either get hands or you don't, slower paced tournys you can wait out the cold decks.

I bluff a lot in 2-table turbos... I steal enough chips to take command later on.

2-table SNGs are actually my specialty these days... if only I weren't getting my ass kicked so hard in the rings...

Don't you just love how your 'A' game seems to shift between games periodically. For a while its LHE, then MTT's, then you get itchy and have to play SNG's, then shift over to NLHE, then back to SNG's. And it Takes a little while to figure out where your game went??

Right now I'm slaughtering the micro PL O8b games, building up my bank to make a limit jump.
