Dont know if my thinking is correct here but im thinking if I havent got a full house with a paired board like that then its best to just fold... Which is what I did... but is this always the case in Omaha high, folding most of the time if the board pairs and you havent got a full house just trips with a high kicker if the betting is strong??

your problem here is that you have so few outs, and probably should have folded PF.

If someone has A5 or 55 you only have 3-6 outs to improve. And even is someone only had an A, you could be out kicked or tied, and they have more outs to catch a boat than you do.

    Pretty worthless starting hand actually.

Yes I am experimenting at the moment. Since the threes missed their set they are effectively useless since you play them for set value and still a set of threes is quite low in Omaha. If It had of been AQxx Where x is higher than 8 it would of been an ok hand?

I know 4 cards over 10 seems to be a good hand.... something like AKQJ for potential or KKTJ well along those lines - Im reading up on a lot of things.

Mainly the omaha thread I found. Bringing some tips to the forefront....

A couple of other things to remember are,

hands like 6789, 89TJ double suited are great against a single opponent, but with multiple oppoents your flush draws are dead and the hand is marginal.

TJQK is a good hand, TJQQ is a great hand.

Never continue in a pot with bottom set.

never draw to a non nut flush or straight.

And a whole bunch of other things!!!
Should of folded this on the flop going by this advice, or even better fold it preflop... Mind you im inclined to see the flop if its only 10c

Now I'm not saying I'm awesome or anything, but keep in mind, you didn't just call .10 you called one small bet. Every action we make can become habit forming and that 1 small bet can get expensive if/when you move up in limits. My football coach always said "practice does not make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect." And he was saying that years before 'Remember the Titans' came out and Denzel stole it. Anyways, that's my two cents.

You and six others in the hand, you dont have the nuts, then someone else probably does.
