I understand the check and call on the river because the spade flush is alive. It helps that you have a spade in your hand because it cuts down on the available flushes, but I don't think I could fold a set in that position.
The part I don't understand here (and don't take this as criticism, because I am not, I'm trying to understand your line of thinking) is the flop. MP2 is check raising, but why did you check, then call, then 3-bet when it came back to you? That doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Am I missing something guys? Color me confused.Nimvin

well i was going to slowplay my set until the turn, but when MP2 call raises I was half thinking maybe he has a set of 10s and was doing the same thing and half thinking "oh no you do not pull that shit on my set." With the way the table was behaving I figured I was definitely good and since it was a call fest I went for another bet. I thought maybe I had someone with a straight draw or two straight draws. Now when the MP3 raised the 3s I thought he might be on the straight and I played poorly here by 3betting. I should have slowed here, but I also thought that the button may have picked up a flush draw and wanted him to call 2 cold if my set was still good. When the 6s came I figured I was smoked and just wanted to see the showdown.
I figured I had about a 12% chance of winning this pot. I have no idea what MP3 was doing with that hand. I'm surprised the button hung in there that long.
Bottom line, this is a prime example as to why you dont fold on a scary board in micro limit holdem. There are mistakes by me in this hand as I mentioned on the turn so dont use it as a "how to" hand.Trons: "...be a winning person first."

Cap this EVERY Street... Chances of an over set are so slim, 98% of the time you're going to be way ahead on the flop... I'm not even considering the flush on the river. especially since the bettor is the same throughout... cap the flop, turn, and river... you will get paid more often (way more) than not.
Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.
