I tried to be crafty with my two pair. Was I retarded for pushing this? When would you have said...uh, maybe I'm not so bad right now?

I slow down on the river, people usually don't push one pair that hard on the river.

I raise the flop.

I am 50/50 on the flop call.
It does set you up nicely if scare card doesnt hit, and you wont get anyone to fold on the flop anyway. You definitely get more money in the pot by waiting until the turn to raise.

I think I might have raised pf given position and most definately would have raised on the flop. There are few enough opportunities to get good value bets into a limit pot and in this case you could have gotten an earlier read on the BB hand. Too many players try the Fancy Play in limit when it's really not necessary and way over done. Most fish don't believe you anyway - go ahead and bet and leave slowplaying for the earlier positions (check-raises) and for when the nuts might scare everyone away - that would be seldom.

I like it except for the fact I may slowed down after the 3 bet/ cap on the turn... this gy probably isnt fearing two pair.
You don't need to raise the flop, the draw has hit, but you can raise for info... But I'm not folding this....Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.
