I really disagree there. If you're prepared to risk your stack here, fine. But you want to get called! KQ may call a 400 chip bet and leave you a bigger stack if you win. A jack however is not ever going to fold here! The only reason to bet bigger would be to get a better hand to fold, or a worse hand to put more money in. I don't think you can go too much higher and expect a call from a hand you beat... and nobody is folding that beats you.

In any kind of game where there were a lot of "good" players, I'd agree, but not here. I think that most of the time, you get a call from any PP no matter what you bet on the flop (obviously the bigger the PP, the more likely the call - good luck if he's got QQ or JJ!). The only hands that fold will be unpaired hands, and queens with bad kickes (QT, Q9, etc). AQ is going to call, and maybe even AK.
Of course, if someone has a jack here, by the time you figure it out, you're pretty much dead. So don't be afraid to overbet the flop a little, and push the rest in on the turn.
