you mean check-call the river? or call the turn?

I was very uncomfortable in this hand, but this was typical TERRIBLE party players.

    I bet, everyone folded.

I agree, bad bet, most of the time, may get a call from 2 pair though.

And why are we not jamming this flop?, you have a bazillion outs to hit a straight, not all nut, but all pretty specific. and you got redraws, like a SF draw... why arent we jamming again? I'm asking, not being sarcastic.
Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.

That was my thought too (but I'm about as big a O8b newbie as you can get) - I was thinking I'd raise the flop.

If he has the nut flush draw i agree with jammin the flop, as it stands he has only 5 clean outs for the nut straight. When he picks up the double barrelled flush draw on the turn I would be ramming.

Yeah he has a lot of outs but very few to the nuts.

I always say don't draw to a non nut flush in omaha, unless you pick it up on the turn

Is having the nuts as critical in Ob8 as it is in high only? My impression was that since so many people are playing hands with low cards in O8b that the odds of someone having the nuts were much lower than in high only.

    People play anything.

The reason I didn't jam is because I didn't have the nut draws. The turn could easily kill my hand, or I could hit a nut hand on the turn and still lost on the river.

    flop KQ7

My had JT98, jacks and tens enable a better straight.

an SF draw is nice, but it is only two outs.
