Paradise Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed) converter
No real reads on anyone, I feel soo naked playing without GT+. Anyway the majority of the players are either loose passive or weak tight.
Preflop: Hero is CO with,
.
1 fold, UTG+1 raises, 3 folds, Hero 3-bets, 1 fold, SB calls, BB calls, UTG+1 caps, Hero calls, SB calls, BB calls.
Flop: (16 SB),
,
(4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG+1 bets, Hero raises, SB folds, BB folds, UTG+1 folds.
people usually don't 4 bet with AQ or AK, so I put him on either AA, KK or QQ. More likely than not he had KK or QQ, since these players never will bet out with top set. Figured I would raise representing a big A and hope to take the pot down, I am really suprised it worked.
Final Pot: 9.50 BB

I like it - raise for info now while it's cheap. I'm surprised UTG+1 folded there, you almost NEVER see the original bettor fold to one more bet.
I'm CDO. It's like OCD, but everying is in order just like it should be.

Good work, this situation is an auto-raise no matter what the board is - that's what having position is all about. He probably had a shitty underpair and just got out of line.
Phyto, I just signed up for Paradise to do the boogster promotion and get the $50 bonus. I have been 3 tabling $1-2 and they are the WORST players I've ever seen. They are just awful. Turn checkraise bluffs galore, three betting preflop with Ax, it took me a bit to adjust - I've had to call down more becuase it is harder to put them on cards. Some guy kept checkraising my 55 (I raised fon the button preflop) on a AJ2Q8 board and I resolve to call it down based on past play - and he had 44!
Deposited $200 and am up to $410 after 400 hands........sick (espeically for 1-2 limit).
I may have to stick around there despite the slow gameplay.

Phyto - are you "phytopath" on Paradise? I had to take "growlers1" as my usual name was taken. What do you think of the site?
If you run into me in the next week - I'm playing looser because the boogster promo counts only raked contributed hands - so don't punish me too much!

If they supported PT better I would play there without a bonus, but I feel that, that would attract some better players too.
The other good thing about Paradise is that there are players that play other games instead of just HE. There are plenty of omaha games, stud among others which is refreshing.
Yeah I am Phytopath there.Last edited by Phytopath; 12-14-2005 at 12:26 PM.
