without reading the showdowhn i will say: re-raise him instead of flat call on the turn. i mean you know hes gunna call your all in, so just get it over with.

well after the flop comes, you cant really evaluate if this was correct or it was mistake etc...

basically pf you limp early with kinda weak hand so, not vary good.
then your 50 is now facing an extra 3bb, this is shaping up to an unfavorable situation. Even if they are loose, you hardly have a hand, and are out of position.

So i think your pf play was bad. Even though you will get paid off when you hit a hand, i think folding pf in ep is the way to go.

And he didnt raise enough with QQ, so he got what he deserved.

i think this type of play that i misread/misapplyed from HoH he says that even if your original call was bad your call of the raise might be good.
He raised to 150 so was only 2 more BB.
"then your 50 is now facing an extra 3(2)bb, this is shaping up to an unfavorable situation"
Its costing me 100 to see a pot of 475 (575 it ends up). Arent these good odds? Harrington seemed to say anything better than 1 : 3 on your money was worth a call with anything but the worst cards if it wasnt crippling to your stack to do so. Did i miss Harringtons point or am i misinterpeting it?

Flop - check to pf raiser to see what he'll do! betting out here warned the whole table off a very possible set. Good chance he would have gone all-in if given the chance and with a set you're only worry are the 2 diamonds at this point. If he just bets into the pot - re-raise him 3x or all-in if you think he'll call it.

Anything better then 1-3 is worth a call... if you're all in.

However, you're going to get a flop you like well less then 25% of the time with that kind of hand... and you're occasionally going to lose a huge pot when you're against a bigger ace and one flops. You're going to have to risk more money most of the time here... and you're usually going to be way behind.
-You may not know this, but poker is a game of incomplete information.

your right. Hoh does say make the calls despite the inital mistake, when the odds are correct. BUt i wouldnt know if the odds of A7s wining in a 4 way, so i dont know if calling 100 for a 800 pot is good odds. im guessing the odds are good enough to call. i disagree with the book about this theaory though.
