    Default The #1 Reason Not to play poker drunk

    After a fight with the wife and a 12 pack of beer I sat down to play a quick SNG...............I don't recommend that you try this at home.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (9 handed) converter

    MP3 (t1500)
    CO (t1540)
    Button (t1470)
    SB (t1420)
    BB (t1500)
    Hero (t1500)
    UTG+1 (t1480)
    MP1 (t1590)
    MP2 (t1500)

    Preflop: Hero is UTG with , .
    Hero raises to t100, 3 folds, MP3 calls t100, 4 folds.

    Flop: (t230) , , (2 players)
    Hero bets t120, MP3 calls t120.

    Turn: (t470) (2 players)
    Hero bets t240, MP3 calls t240.

    River: (t950) (2 players)
    Hero bets t300, MP3 raises to t1040, Hero calls t740 (All-In).

    Final Pot: t3030

    Results in white below:
    Hero has Kh Ad (straight, ace high).
    MP3 has Jc Jd (full house, jacks full of fives).
    Outcome: MP3 wins t3030.

    I get stacked every time there. It looks like it must have been the first orbit so I can understand being pissed, but you don't have ESP.

    I've done far worse things playing drunk, including 4 betting with 3-7 sooted which drew the ire of nu2mdwst2. Pretty much the only thing I remember from that session....

    pukeing onto the table at a live casino is worse imo.
    I get more ass than a toilet seat. All shapes/colors/sizes.

    I only know one person that plays better when hes drunk, personally i hate playin when im druknk,. the only time that hive had succeses wis when i sat donw at the 2/4 nl table and won gbh $400 in 2 hand ans left and play some more hocky
