I consider myself a decent tournament player and a alright live game player. When it comes to bar freerolls however, I am very inconsistant.
Here are a few things I already know. In these freerolls you have 2 types of players.
1. Decent Overall Player - Plays tight most of the time, makes the right moves and actually knows about some different things about the game.
2. Clueless Player = Calls almost everything, plays any hand, very loose. Basically a river whore.
My biggest problem with these bar freerolls is you cannot bluff. No, you cannot scare away anyone when where playing for free so that's one of my biggest problems.
I myself, play tight sometimes or I mix it up. I usually make it to the final table every couple of days a week. I play in one nightly almost but, I can never seems to finish it off. I know final table play is different from starting tables but I need help here. If anyone has some good tips for me please help me out here.
Thanks,
John

you can bluff a little, just the bluffs have to be so stupid that only a fool would fall for them. Like 3 clubs on board and you bet hard, or flop AA6 and you represent the A... but i wouldn't suggest bluffing to much b/c they will a lot of shit! I'd suggest entering pots cheaply (play loose) and try to hit your hands. If you hit, they will defenatley pay you off.
I get more ass than a toilet seat. All shapes/colors/sizes.

You can't bluff bad players, but you can trap them for all their chips. See a lot of flops as cheap as possible (with hands like suited connectors and semi connectors, any pair looking for a set and even big hands like AK AQ, etc), and then do crazy things like go all in on the flop when you hit a monster. These guys can't help but call you down with practically nothing.
It's not true that you can't bluff. Make a mental note of who you can bluff and only bluff if you're in a pot with those players. This is going to take a little while, but you should start to figure it out.

To go from near the end to winning you have to start pushing marginal edges as the blinds get huge. Don't wait for your stack to shrink... push it in there while doubling up still helps!
-You may not know this, but poker is a game of incomplete information.
