Well my luck has turned on me, and I probably shouldnt of pushed with Jacks at that moment but with over 700 already in the pot and me knowing that he had been playing so loose the whole Tournament it felt right to push.

You need to set up camp over at the river rats forum. Your posts are just bad beats. If someone wants to call with A8, be happy, because you'll usually make money

I wouldnt call this a bad beat. The table is 6 handed and he has A6 off. I probably dont make this move from UTG, but he is the big stack and is making an attempt to steal the blinds and he does have an ace.

I think you have to assume he has an ace, or a PP. You can either call and see the flop (knowing you will fold if an ace hits) or do what you did and push all in.

This is tough, but I cant call it a bad beat.

Actually I think the big stack makes a horrid play by calling with A6. He's a 70/30 underdog to any pair 66 or above, and worse against any big ace (75/25).

He's gettint 2.3:1 on his money with the call, which is just at break even with the pairs (but not against the bigger aces). I think risking a huge amount more with A6 off at just break even odds is a pretty bad play.

If you want to steal the blinds with A6, fine, just lay it down if you encounter any serious resistance (like someone going all in for 3 times your raise).

    Jason,

I absolutely agree he should have folded. I meant his PF steal atempt was fine.

I just dont call any ol loss a bad beat. When your beaten from the flop, how bad a beat can it really be?

Its a bad beat in the sense that he made the right play, got called by a worse hand, and still loss. And there's not much point in posting those kinds of threads repeatedly in here, there's a separate forum for those hands...that was my point :P

    Alright...

I was just venting anger - since this guy had been making calls such as this one and worse all day, then again - If i had his stack size I would of made the same call most likely.
