WWYD??? Playing Q5s

Fold - you've been raised and the raise smooth called. No WAY do I see top-pair bad kicker being any good.

I'm CDO. It's like OCD, but everying is in order just like it should be.

i would fold, chances are one of them has you beat...best you could hope is probably a split pot...you've got enough chips and the blinds are low enough that you can for a better spot to push your chips in...
I love him who is ashamed when the dice fall in his favour and who then asks: Am I then a cheat? for he wants to perish.

Toss it. It's obvious somebody has either Q with a <5 kicker. Or the 9.

i would fold in the absense of any reads,
you saw a flop with 4 others with no info on their hands as everyone limps,
you made a bet and got information that 2 players believe they have some kind of strength.
also you have about 900TC and the pot is getting too big for you to make any meaningfull bets. i think you should fold unless you really believe you are ahead (i am not sure that you are).
i would prob see a flop here as you prob have implied odds.

Cool, just a health check there, I folded and they had 9T and 9J and the 9T guy got stacked.
What about this play a little bit later? I'm the big blind, the SB is 68% VPIP over 40 hands the button is 23% VPIP.

Boy that is tough, I get in so much trouble defending the blinds. So many people DO NOT play position that you cannot right off a button raise as a steal.
I ended up blowing off about 2500 chips on A high vs a button raiser with 99 on a flop of 99Q.Last edited by Beavis68; 12-05-2005 at 12:45 PM.

hmm.. risky play (imo).. A 10 is not a really good hand to push on, after the pot had been raised.. then again he was on the button, it could be a steal.. but the button is shortstacked and i doubt he would try to steal when the SB is chip leader.. the chip leader could easily come all in over the top on him and force him out, therefore i doubt he would have raised with shitty cards or attempted to steal at that point.. in this scenario, i only see the shortstacked button playing only top over cards (AK AQ AJ) or a pocket pair (which he would be ready to push with preflop if the chance arose) so at best i figure ur 50/50 to win.. plus u still have 17bbs.. u can easily see like 20 more hands before going under 15bbs.. and im sure in the next 20 hands u can find a better spot to push on.
