Early tourney hand, scary board

Well, technically your turn bet was too small, but it pot committed everybody, so its moot, and you PF raise I would go one more BB personally, but other than being picky, I would have played it very similar....

For some reason, flushes always find themselves up against full houses.

yeah i think you couldn't of played that better to be fair.
dunno how the other guy could go all-in knowing you'd call with a low flush draw and low pair though. what if you had a higher flush draw? psh. some pushers..

I think you need to find a way to get away from top pair early on in tournaments. I make so much by busting people early on who can't get away from top pair.
I would likely have folded this to the first bet. It's too early to be making difficult decisions for a lot of chips (relative to my stack size).
This one worked out for you, but if that last card comes a diamond, you're asking yourself why didn't you let yourself get away from it. The risk vs. reward ratio here is way too high.

Weak-tight Jason.
I am not sure how I feel about raising a limper from such an early position with AJs though.
Also, you should reconsider playing in tourneys with a 20% vigorish. That is really a big hit to your ROI.
Open an accouint on PS or UB if you want to play some MTTs.

Odd... the tourney was 5+.50, not 5+1.

most places prefer a 10% vig, not 20%, but it is site to site

I got ya Marm... but the hand history is wrong... it WAS 10%. It actually says that on the next line. No clue why it's like that.
