    Default Losing on the River.

I was in the bb and had
bb was 4,000 and he raised to 8,000. I called and was left with 6,500.
The flop came out and i had kings. I pushed my remaining chips into the pot and he called he had so i thought i was golden.
The turn came and the card was just one more card and I thought I was going to win 22,574 chips. The river came and it was and I was stunned.
I could have won a big pot instead i left the game in 145th place. Should I have gone all-in on the flop?

You have to push on the flop with less than the BB, you got screwed here though. You had to make a move, and it just didn't pan out. This was last night in the 5k giveaway, so you would have been in nice shape. Too bad, you were doing great.

you cant play like this pre flop. you eather push all in pre flop or fold.

now that the flop has come. id prolly push with or without a pair. luckly u have K so flop is fairly good news to you.

U sucks out back @ you hitting 2 outer. That sucks.

But i dont like your passive style with such large blinds preflop.
I get more ass than a toilet seat. All shapes/colors/sizes.

Actually, with that few chips, callinga and pushing any flop may be better than going all-in PF. You have SOME fold equity that way.

Don't worry about it. You had 3.5 BB (M of 2.3 or something). I'm all in PF with any 2 cards. I'm thanking the poker gods for KTo in this situation, pushing my chips in, and pulling the slot machine handle.

And . . . bang. At least you go down shooting. Can't win 'em all.
