Preflop, I probably wouldn't have raised, but i supposed thats just me.
Flop, since you raised, I would have definitely bet.
Turn, I would have DEFINITELY bet...2 hearts on the board, and it feels like he's drawing. I bet.
River is fine.

Obviously you're up against a really shitty opponent here. Slowplays his queens right to hell.
You've got position on everyone, so why did you raise? If I thought I'd get a call from a chip donator (a really bad player), then I'd raise to thin the field and play heads up against one opponent whom I have position on. Otherwise I don't want to lose my chance to hit a set on the button against multiple opponents.
So you get the call from the CO. I make the same play you do on the flop. My opponent checks, I think I likely have the best hand, so I value bet (not continuation) to take down the pot. When my opponent flat calls a large bet out of position, alarm bells start going off in my head.
If he's a good player, he's either on a draw and thinks he can get a huge bet out of me if he hits (implied odds). If he's a weaker player, he's either on a draw or has a huge hand he's slowplaying (like a set of kings, 4's, 3's, or AA).
But then fate delivers us our set on the turn. It will either make us a lot of money (against the smaller sets or AA), or break us (if he hits the draw or has that set of kings). So on the turn, I want to find out which it is (and force out any draws to beat me), so I bet out the pot again. You checked and allowed him a free card to beat you.
Don't do that, or you'll find yourself telling a lot of "bad beat" stories.
On the river, the 8 doesn't scare me, because he would have made his straight on the turn with a 56, which is the only plausible straight draw. No flush either, so I take him to war and hope he doesn't have the set of kings.
Turns out he was looking for a cheap showdown with his QQ, which he couldn't get away from even with the overcard. When you checked on the turn, he probably thought his queens were good, so he comes out firing on the river and right into your set.
He played the hand miserably, and I'm going to add him to my buddy list immediately.
