When to play suited connectors?

best played in the late position for as little as possible...played early your likely to be raised, and then have to fold or call...i would call a raise with them if a) 2 or more other ppl had also called the raise, or b) if you don't think the raiser has that strong a hand (i.e. player always raising, or probable positional raise - blind steal attempt)...
i would only raise with them if i wasn't expecting to get called...
best folded on flop unless you get a good draw or two pair, although it depends on what you think your oppoent has...9/10s isn't that far behind A/K (about 60/40)I love him who is ashamed when the dice fall in his favour and who then asks: Am I then a cheat? for he wants to perish.

If there has been no callers before me, I like doing a small raise pre-flop with suited connectors. Usally it makes players put you on stronger cards which usally allows you either to semi-buff the pot on the flop or at least get a free draw card.

I usually play suited connectors like 67s and 89s when there are a lot of players and it is cheap. 910s and i will sometimes play when there is a raise in front of me but I usually stick to only playing it with lots of players and a cheap price to see the flop.

when the stacks are large the table is passive and price of entry is cheap.
you don't need limpers to make them profitable in NL.

in late position as previously stated. also, if everyone before you is just limping, consider raising it up a bit if you think the table will bear it without losing anyone. might buy you a free card if you flop 4 to the flush / straight etc.
