Would you play A8 or A9 or KQ or KJ... to a 4x bb raise preflop (lets say some guy in middle position raises)... if u were on the button or late position?
what about A8-A9 suited.. KQ/KJ suited?

when i play 6 max, i fold allmost all those, to an unkown player. as too a known fool, ill play all of em prolly. infact last night i played J7 from sb to a 3.5bb raise from the button. so it matters about poopenet. as to full ring, hell no, id muck all of em.
I get more ass than a toilet seat. All shapes/colors/sizes.

Against a weak or loose opponent, I'd probably play the KQ but would muck the rest. Against a tight opponent, these are easy folds.

Those hands are just looking for trouble. KQ and KJ are too often dominated - if more players call I would call the A high suited and hope to flop trips or a nuts flush.
As mr_clown says you need to read SS2, you will learn which hands to play
If you are looking to take down a pre-flop raiser look for hands like 67s or small pocket pairs, and play them from POSITION!

i think i kind of agree with gder here, it really depends on your opponent...i dont mean whether they are a tight player or not, just if i think i can outplay him after the flop. If i can, i'll play any A-suited, and KQ, KJ, etc... ("trouble hands")If not, i'll stay away
