78 favored over AA preflop

Isnt 78 the favorite to win vs. AA preflop because of the straight possibility? AA has it dominated preflop but the only way it can really improve is if it catches one of the other Aces or 4 cards to a straight. where as 78 can make a low straight to 8, a high straight to J, or any middle straight w/ 78...giving it quite a number of cards to catch to improve its chances of winning...::shrug::
IIRC and i cant remember where i heard or read this, but vs. AA preflop any middle connecting cards (suited = slightly better) is usually the favorite to win...
