Limit Hold Em, stakes irrelevant fairly tight tables
Hand 1 - 5 folds, an average player raises everyone fold to you in the BB with![]()
and you call.
Flop is![]()
![]()
. What do you do?
1) Bet out
2) check fold
2) check raise
Hand 2 - All fold to the cutoff who raises(a habitual blind stealer who will cap post flop with nothing) you are in the SB with![]()
. What do you do?
1) Fold
2) Call
3) Raise
Hand 3 - a loose player raises fro UTG and you are next to act with![]()
, if you call you can expect at least the BB and possibly another player to come along, if you raise it will probably be heads up but the BB like to call and may call as well. What do you do?
1) Fold
2) Call
3) Raise

I'm not going to give answers because these situations are confusing to me and I'm not sure if I'm playing them correctly. I'm looking for some other input from you guys and girls.

1) check raise,
if he doesn't have a king or a flush draw he'll probably fold. If he re-raises I think that you can call the one additional bet and hope to hit your potential gut-shot.
2) raise the maniac,
try and get heads up with him. Whether you hit the flop or not you can often call a complete maniac down. I find playing passively against a maniac is profitable.
3) raise against the loose raiser,
again try and get him heads up, if the flop looks really bad you can take one stab at it if he checks to you.

#1 typically check fold, I am not very imaginative.
#2 Did the CO just limp? If so I am just completing. Not raising for anything with ATo.
#3 is tough too, I may just fold, I may raise sometimes if I am feeling adventurous, may call sometimes too - and see the texture of the flop.

hand 1: i'd probably bet, and call if he raises, then bet if anything useful or scary (e.g. club, 7, 8, J, etc.)comes on the turn, otherwise i'd probably checkfold on the turn...he's probably not going to fold to a check raise on the flop, not for 1 SB
hand 2: i'd raise, hope to force out BB...if CO reraises just call...i'd probably bet at flop whatever comes
hand 3: probably raise, hope it'll be just you and UTG and then play as the flop dictates...probably just call him down unless the flop is all high or all low...I love him who is ashamed when the dice fall in his favour and who then asks: Am I then a cheat? for he wants to perish.

1) Fold PF, but if we must play, It all depends on his post flop bluffs, if hes passive (<1.25 aggro), then check fold, anything else we check/raise/call, fold the turn if we miss the str8.
2) Cap PF and Flop.
3) Call, I want to get some extra dead money in the pot, and I want to see the flop texture.Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.
Luck is a Residue of Design.

Hand 1 - check-call (looking for gutshot str8 on turn). If I hit a diamond on turn but not the gutshot, then I'll check-call again for the gutshot Str8 and backdoor flush - other wise I'm folding
Hand 2 - call - I never like to expose the strengh of my hand when in the blinds (except for big pp). Let the flop dictate how to play the A-T.
Hand 3 - This early a position probably just call. From a later position and folded from UTG to me, then raise to get HU vs a known maniac.
