A simple caution to advise that my alternate ideas, that can work in certain situations, aren't everyone's cup of tea. And this was entirely to do with playing short stacked, not with A7os.

Okay, and in regard to 'quite a few' and 'everyone' having a problem with my 'theories'. I'm sure there must be a few people who may believe that there are times when textbook poker isn't the best course of action. I see that my wording wasn't the best and apologise for that. But to my defence, it could only offend those who are ready to jump down my throat to begin with.

How much of a raise is acceptable to defend if it comes from the Button or SB? I'm assuming that the rest of the table, except for perhaps one player who may have called, has folded up to the Button or SB.
