Righto. Just how many times will AA actually beat KK in a game of No-Limit Texas Hold'em when both hands have been played all-in pre-flop???
We know that the starting win percentages are AA-80% and KK-20% give or take. But just how many times will this hold until the showdown for 100% either way?
In my own experience, and I've been playing poker for money over the last 4-5 years now, many times I've pushed all-in and shown my KK in full confidence only to have my heart skip a beat upon seeing I'm up against AA. However, my KK has always come through. I have also had AA and lost to KK, QQ and JJ among others including one memorable hand when I had Aces full of Threes, but another player had called with the other Threes to flog my chips.
The only reason I do a double take is because I understand the odds involved and the AA is supreme in theory, but over time I've learnt something more about the odds involved in getting support from the board. In fact, I've only ever lost with KK twice when playing all-in pre-flop, and they were in MTT games against short stacks calling anything and getting lucky.
Next question, assuming there is a 3rd caller to the pre-flop all-in bet, which hand is stronger against this. The AA or the KK?
KK for me anyday. No percentages, no quotes. Just simple dead reckoning based on personal experience and knowledge. So can someone actually provide statistical data to show that AA has beaten KK with a success rate of more than 50%???

If there is a 3rd caller A/A Is Still a huge favorite vs K/K and the caller.

Four to Five years is quite a while. I don't get KK all that often, twice a day if I'm lucky. In terms of actual hands played for real money, regardless of stakes, I've surely passed 500k and am perhaps closer to 900k.

Also, please note that I refer to when I've played KK all-in pre-flop. There have been numerous other times when I've played a simple 5xBB pre-flop bet and been called. Therefore, not making these count.

I agree, common sense says that AA with 80% chance to win against KK with 20% chance to win is a better hand. But just how many times does it actually prevail???

Twice when I've played KK all-in pre-flop. Why can't anyone here actually read?
