Maniac was a true maniac, VPIP 64% PFR 55%, WtSD 62%, W$SD 36%, Agg 9.22, WR 34BB/100 over 60 hands. Most of this was at a full table, but he just ran off 4 players that got tired of his play.
LPP had a VPIP of 47%.
Please critic play. I don't like to get heads-up with maniacs in split games unless i have really good 2-way potential since they always seem to snag one half the pot.

I'm raising preflop, calling flop, raising and reraising turn and river unless the other player sticks around. then I'll just call
You should be trying to get heads up with maniac here, you could force another A3 to fold or a shit flush or bigger straight.Read my musings on poker and life at Online Poker Examiner, Poker Examiner, PokerNewsBoy.com, and My Poker Blog

I don't play a lot of Omaha but for what its worth;
On the turn You had 6-5-4-3-A for low and 3-4-5-6-7 for high which should be good enough for a raise/re-raise. Only A-2 has you beat for low and 7-8 and/or 2 diamonds for high! That's pretty strong.
The raise/re-raise would hopefully force out the LPP if not the maniac and if it doesn't win it right there at least your win odds go up for both high and low with one less player. On the river I would probably lead-out and not attempt a check-raise but would re-raise the maniac and just call a re-raise from the LPP.
There are no reads on your opps (I find getting a read in Omaha very difficult in any case) as maniacs play (and bet) anything and so do LPPs so they both could have the nuts or absolutely nothing - the showdown will tell.
So did you sweep?
Edit: Maybe I should have qualified why I would re-raise the maniac but not the LPP! B/c I hate the bastards and try to bust them any chance I get!!! LOLLast edited by Aces-o-8s; 10-20-2005 at 02:21 PM.

yeah I did, I was really shocked neither of them had diamonds. i figured LPP had weak diamonds. and I dont think either would fold.
ends up LPP had 442x and and maniac had 23xx.
