    Default Count the outs,

Just a funny hand that never panned out for me, though it's a good exercise in counting the outs.

    PokerStars 0.50/1.00 Omaha/8 (7 handed) converter

    Preflop: Hero is Button with , , , .
UTG calls, MP1 calls, 1 fold, CO calls, Hero raises, SB calls, 1 fold, UTG calls, MP1 calls, CO calls.

    Flop: (11 SB) , , (5 players)
SB checks, UTG checks, MP1 checks, CO checks, Hero bets, SB calls, UTG calls, MP1 calls, CO calls.

    Turn: (8 BB) (5 players)
SB checks, UTG checks, MP1 checks, CO checks, Hero bets, SB calls, UTG calls, MP1 calls, CO calls.

so for you O8b newbies how many outs did I have for at least a piece of the pot and how many for both high and low? (low may be split but thats okay).

    River: (13 BB) (5 players)
SB checks, UTG checks, MP1 checks, CO bets, Hero folds, SB folds, UTG folds, MP1 folds.

    Final Pot: 14 BB

    Results in white below:
    CO doesn't show.
    Outcome: CO wins 14 BB.

Haha... why are you showing the results? The hand didn't get shown down.

Anyway, yeah... that sucks. Probably about a 30-outer but I don't really feel like counting them.

For high hand, looks like 9 outs to the nut flush, 2 of which pair the board. 9 outs to the second nut flush, 2 pair the board. Plus 2 outs to the wheel which would put a better straight out there.

For low, 21 outs to the nut low (10 which weren't counted for high), though you might chop the low if it isn't an ace or 2.

So 34 cards improve your hand. But the question is... how many were truly outs?

heh, I guess I had the "show results" box ticked.

There are alot of outs, I wanted those that are trying to figure out O8b to tell me how many there are and how many are for the nuts. Really when I played this hand, I realised I had alot and I felt I was more than 50% to win a piece of the pot, I was raising/calling anybets on the turn.

yep, in omaha and stud, some of the worst beats aren't when you opponent hits a draw, but when you miss all of yours.
