I was playing this weekend and having similar situations happen (I won't post the bad beats) but it seems like the last few days, when I try bullying someone with a good hand the other person had the best hand. I don't know if it's just bad timing but I had this happen about 4 times this weekend and 2 times it cost me my stack. The person I played this hand against JUST sat down at the table. Didin't wait for the BB to come around just sat and posted the blind. Post flop I had him on a big ace or top 2 pair, all weekend I was trying to play tight but when I had a good hand I pushed hard, got clobbered just about every time.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (8 handed) converter

    UTG ($2.33)
    UTG+1 ($2)
    MP1 ($4.33)
    MP2 ($3.49)
    CO ($1.46)
    Button ($1.68)
    SB ($9.21)
    Hero ($3.42)

Preflop: Hero is BB with , . UTG+1 posts a blind of $0.02.
1 fold, UTG+1 (poster) checks, 1 fold, MP2 calls $0.02, CO calls $0.02, Button calls $0.02, 1 fold, Hero checks.

    Flop: ($0.11) , , (5 players)
Hero bets $0.06, UTG+1 calls $0.06, MP2 folds, CO calls $0.06, Button folds.

    Turn: ($0.29) (3 players)
Hero bets $0.26, UTG+1 raises to $0.52, CO folds, Hero calls $0.26.

    River: ($1.33) (2 players)
    Hero bets $1.44, UTG+1 calls $1.40 (All-In).

    Final Pot: $4.17

Okay I suck at using the hand converter anyway the other person had pocket AA. So I lost with trip fives against trip aces.

You can't put a guy on pocket aces when he is limping in PF.

Just look for this guy in the future.........he played his aces wrong and got lucky.

hmmmm.... thats pretty deep beav (no, im being serious here).

A lot of posts here are the waht could I have done better type, when in fact, they played it perfectly with the info they had. FTOP wise they may have fucked it up, but thats why FTOP is theoretical, not practical.

    Hmmm... just got me thinking....

I'd have gone all in on the flop: the outcome would have been the same though.
