the fact that he was calling your bets and not reraising would signal that he is weak. so your prolly thinking he wount call 40$. I wouldnt over bet it eather

I think looking back now, you might say "man, if he called that, he prolly woulda called more" but during the hand, u didnt know this, so u should feel good that you got the extra $.

Although lately i have been going all in (overbetting pots) with mosters when i feel weakness. I figure: He feels weak, and will prolly call a dollar. However ill take a chance and hope he calls 20. When dealing with rookies, they will sometimes make rediculous calls.

Well, Tekky5 may have thought you were bluffing since he called on the river but I doubt he would have thought you had missed the flush. You pre-flop raised and lead the betting all the way to SD indicating you had a made hand. I would have put you on to a possible pocket pair or top pair and Tekky5 on a flush draw or more likely a small pair off the flop - why else would he call along? Had you checked on the turn/river would have indicated a draw - to a possible flush.
That he called the river bet is kind of surprising unless he had you pegged as a bluffer/pot buyer and was gambling his small pair was enough to win but to answer your question about going all-in, I would think Tekky5 would have folded and while you didn't say so, I'm thinking he gave some serious thought before calling your $18 bet. You did well in this hand and probably better than most could have expected.
