Default microlimit NL strategy: raise on turn

I play 6 person tables ultra low stakes and usually have good position aswell as 100 bets at all times. U got a two way flop with like 7-9 bets in pot. No one takes it on the flop, so on the turn the dude makes it 1 or 2 bets. Ill almost always raise him no matter what. I call his 2 and raise 4 or 6.

Obviously this strategy is for medium pot, where your oponent makes a wothles bet on turn after cheking flop.

*why not take it on the flop? i dont know, usually i feel my 6h8h or 27is weak so i check*

now in .10-.25 or .05 - .10, the dude will probably call your re-raise and chek on the turn.
So the pot could have 20+ bets in it, at this point if i feel he is not slow playing, ill bet the pot here.

Obviously there are exceptions..., however this strategy yields alot of good pots. The key i guess (and essence of the game), is realizing if the opponent is weak.

Well very general statement...

I would say those kind of play are not realy related to your cards as you said, but more on position, who is the pre-flop raiser, your image, your opponent's habbits, reads you have on him and lots of other things.

If you do that kind of play sytematicaly, you will definately get burn. Even in low stakes you always have 1 or 2 solid players around waiting for obvious tells like this.

I definatly agree. @ UB I play with the same folks evry night so we know eachothers games fairly well. It aint like im doin it evry 10 hands. Ill do this when i get board and say " thats it, im bluffing this next hand" = about 1 in 30 or 40 hands.
