Question, if a table loses players, how long should I sit there waiting for them to come back?
ie: This happened this morning. I sat down a 2 tables, looking to grind for an hour or so. At both tables, after about 30 hands or so people started leaving the tables. I've noticed that once a table gets <6 players, it usually won't fill back up.
On both tables I was down about $.25 (total of $.50) and both tables did it at the same time. I left without recouping that money to find bigger tables. I've noticed that this seems to happen mostly during the mornings and is one reason I really don't like playing when the sun is up.
Is this something others have noticed, how long should I sit there hoping the table will fill back up, and is this something I need to learn to take in stride?

Being up or down doesn't matter(at all) Just get up and find another table if you don't like playing shorthanded. Why the hell would you just sit and wait online?

The reason they don't fill back up is the way Pokerstars lists their tables, once they only have 6 players they fall behind the 6 max tables and players have a difficult time finding them.
But as Bonch said just move to another table

If I see 3 open seats, I unlick auto-post, and when the BB comes back to me, I evaluate my desire to continue play at the table.
I have found that multitabling is best done with full tables. You can sit back and tighten up some if you want, not being forced to be more aggressive with marginal hands. thats just IMHO though, others will have other preferences.Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.
